When should I contact SRL?

SRL does not handle anything related to the listings on the site, we merely are the avenue to bring the two parties together. Please contact SRL if you are having problems with, or any other technical issues with the SRL website.

How does the site work?

Sturgis Rally Lodging (SRL) is a site designed to connect people who want to rent their properties and sturgis motorcycle rally goers looking for a place to stay during the upcoming rally. The listers submit information and images of their properties for the world to see and potentially rent. The listers are responsible for updating their property listings, which include a detailed property description, images, pricing and availability information. When a renter finds a property that best fits their needs and budget they then contact the property lister directly via the contact information on the listing.

How do I find a rental?

SRL offers a place for rally goers and property listers to come together and connect. Our website features listings from renters in an around the Sturgis Rally Area and we offer a few ways to help narrow down the search for the rental that meets your needs.

  1. go to the listings page
  2. fill in the criteria in the search box
  3. search through the results to find the listing right for you
  4. once found, contact the property lister for more information
How do I create a listing?

there are two ways to create a listing, if you already have an account:

  1. log into your account
  2. go to the my account area
  3. find the listing to be edited and click the edit button

if you are new to srl:

  1. go to the signup page, and fill in all the information
  2. you will be redirected to paypal to make the payment for your listing
  3. upon verifiying your payment, your account will be unlocked and listing started for you
  4. log into your account
  5. go to the my account area
  6. find the listing to be edited and click the edit button
How do I renew my listing?

to renew your listing, please follow these steps:

  1. log into your account
  2. go to the my account area
  3. find the listing to be renewed and click renew, you will be redirected to paypal to pay the renewal fee
  4. once payment is verified, your listing expiration date will be extended
How do I manage my listing?

to renew your listing, please follow these steps:

  1. log into your account
  2. go to the my account area
  3. find the listing to be editted and click the edit button
  4. make changes to the listing as necessary and make sure to click save, all changes should take place instantaneously
How do I contact a property lister?

Each listing in SRL offers the lister to display contact information such as email address, phone or fax number, or website address, to allow you to contact them for more information reguarding their listing.

What do I do when a lister doesn't respond?

We encourage everyone to respond within a reasonable amount of time, usually 24-48 hours. If you have not already done so, we recommend calling the phone number on the listing, if given.

If the lister has not responded within a timely manner, you may want to consider looking into other properties in the same area as a backup plan.

Note: Make sure to check your junk mail/spam folder for any emails from a lister, as they may accidentally end up there.
